Bolt’s people are its most valuable resource, and as we are growing our team in Toronto, we would like to ensure someone is looking after the wellbeing of the office and the team. As an office manager you will handle a wide variety of operations related to our new office, as well as being the point person that handles our local recruitment initiatives. This is a role with many different opportunities to grow, and we have an excellent team here in Toronto as well as San Francisco who are willing to provide training and assistance. What you will do

  • Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord
  • Responsible for the office plan; ensures new hires have what they need
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Help Toronto team with inter-office travel
  • Partner with People Ops to maintain office policies as necessary
  • Organize team and recruiting events
  • Research and reach out to potential local candidates
  • Recruiting coordination for on-site interviews
  • Manage candidate pipeline for Toronto positions

Requirements

  • Great organization and communication skills
  • Loads of energy, enjoy working and communicating with people
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast learner (We are willing to teach!)
  • Experience with office productivity software (Asana, Lever, gSheet, etc)
  • (Preferred) Previous office management work, specifically with startups
  • (Preferred) Experienced with online research (finding candidates from companies) or have an extensive network in tech industry
  • (Preferred) Experience with organizing events with 50+ attendees
